If you currently own or have owned business or businesses that you personally manage or have managed, in your home country or another, you have the following options:

1- Business Owner (Provisional)
To qualify for this visa you must:

• Show that you have or had ownership interest and management of a business (or a maximum of two).
• Have had an overall Successful Business Career.
• Have 200,000 AUD (or equivalent) Business assets for at least 2 of the most recent 4 years.
• Show 500,000 AUD (or equivalent)in Business Turnover for at least 2 of the most recent 4 years.
• Be less than 45 years of Age.
• Communicate Fluently in English.
• Formally notify the State or Territory where you intend to establish or acquire a business.
• Pass Health Character with all members of the family unit.

Under this visa you must: show genuine commitment to starting or acquiring business interest in Australia within a reasonable period after arrival; demonstrate the need to be in Australia to manage the business; have sufficient fund to settle in Australia with family.

2- State or Territory Sponsored Business Owner (Provisional)
To qualify for this visa you must:

• Show that you have or had ownership interest and management of a business (or a maximum of two).
• Have had an overall Successful Business Career.
• Show 300,000 AUD (or equivalent)in Business Turnover for at least 2 of the most recent 4 years.
• Be less than 55 years of Age
.
• Get Sponsorship from the State or Territory where you intend to establish or acquire a business.
• Have net assets of at least 250,000 AUD.
• Pass Health Character with all members of the family unit.

Under this visa you must: show genuine commitment to starting or acquiring a business in Australia within a reasonable period after arrival; demonstrate the need to be in Australia to manage the business activities; show sufficient fund to settle in Australia with family

3-Business Talent (Migrant)
This is a direct permanent residency visa. To qualify you must:

• Show that you have or had ownership interest and management of a business (or a maximum of two).
• Have had an overall Successful Business Career.
• Have 400,000 AUD (or equivalent) Business assets for at least 2 of the most recent 4 years.
• Show 3,000,000 AUD (or equivalent) or more in Business Turnover for at least 2 of the most recent 4 years.
• Show 1,500,000 AUD (or equivalent) in total assets.
• Be less than 55 years of Age
.
• Formally notify the State or Territory where you intend to establish or acquire a business.
• Pass Health Character with all members of the family unit.

Under this visa you must show genuine commitment to starting or acquiring a business in Australia within a reasonable period after arrival

After coming to Australia under either of the above mentioned visas at items (1 or 2)and you start or acquire an interest in a business and wish to obtain permanent residency you will have one of the following options:

4-Business Owner (Residence)
To qualify for this visa you must have:

• Two years of eligible business activity in Australia.
• Taken the appropriate administrative measures for setting up the business.
• 100,000 AUD Business Assets within one full fiscal year.
• 300,000 AUD in Business Turnover.
• had 2 full time employees.
• Net Assets of 250,000 AUD.
• Passed Health and Character with all members of the family unit.

5- Sponsored Business Owner (Residence)
To qualify for this visa you must have:

• Two years of eligible business activity in Australia.
• Taken the appropriate administrative measures for setting up the business.
• 75,000 AUD Business Assets within one full fiscal year.
• 200,000 AUD in Business Turnover.
• 1 full time employees.
• Net Assets of 250,000 AUD.
• Sponsorship by the Australian State or Territory where you have a business activity.
• Passed Health and Character with all members of the family unit.

If you are in Australia under a qualifying temporary business visa other than what is mentioned above at items (1 or 2)you and you started or acquired an interest in a business you will have one of the following option

6- Established Business In Australia
To qualify for this visa you must have:

• One and Half years of eligible business activity in Australia.
• Taken the appropriate administrative measures for setting up the business.
• Resided in Australia for 12 months immediately before applying.
• 100,000 AUD net Business Assets.
• A Score of minimum 105 on the business points test (points are allocated for Australian business turnover, Age, English language ability, employment of Australian citizens and permanent residence and net assets).
• Passed Health and Character with all members of the family unit.

7- Established Regional Business In Australia
To qualify for this visa you must have:

• Two years of eligible business activity in Regional Australia.
• Sponsorship from the relevant authority in the State or Territory where the business was established.
• Taken all appropriate administrative measures to set up the business in Regional Australia.
• Resided in Australia for 12 months cumulative in the last 24 months before applying.
• Business Turnover of 200,000 AUD.
• 75,000 AUD net Business Assets.
• A Score of 105 minimum on the business points test (points are scored for Australian business turnover, Age, English Language ability, employment of Australian citizens or permanent residents and net assets).
• Passed Health and Character with all members of the family unit.
