If you currently own or have owned up to two businesses that you have personally managed, or have been a professional investor OR retiree, you have the following options:
1- Investor (Provisional)
To qualify for this visa you must:
- Show that you have access to 1,500,000 AUD and make a designated investment before the visa grant.
- Have had an overall successful business career with a minimum of three years in managing businesses or eligible investments.
- Have 10% ownership in anyone business you manage, OR have invested equivalent to 1.5 M AUD in eligible investments.
- Have 2,500,000 M AUD in net assets.
- Be be less than 45 years of Age.
- Communicate Fluently in English.
- Formally notify the State or Territory where you intend to establish a business or make the investment.
- Pass Health and Character checks with all members of the family unit.
Under this visa you must: show genuine commitment to starting a business or maintaining investment activities in Australia within a reasonable period after arrival; demonstrate the need to be in Australia to manage the business;sufficient fund to settle in Australia with the family.
2- State Or Territory Sponsored (Provisional)
To qualify for this visa you must:
- Show that you have access to 750,000 AUD and make a designated investment before the visa grant.
- Have had an overall Successful Business Career with a minimum of three years in managing businesses or an eligible investments.
- Have 10% Ownership in a business you manage, OR have invested the equivalent of 750,000 AUD in eligible investments.
- Have 1,250,000 AUD in net assets.
- Be less than 55 years of Age.
- Communicate Fluently in English.
- Have sponsorship from the State or Territory where you intend to establish businesses or make investments.
- Pass Health Character with all members of the family unit.
Under this visa you must: show genuine commitment to starting a business or maintaining investment activities in Australia within a reasonable period after arrival; demonstrate the need to be in Australia to manage the business;sufficient fund to settle in Australia with the family.
3- Investor Retirement (Temporary)
To qualify for this visa you must:
- Show that you have made a designated investment, before the visa grant of 750,000 AUD OR 500,000 if you invest in regional area.
- Maintain a comprehensive health insurance for the duration of the visa.
- Have access to an annual income of 65,000 AUD, OR 50,000 AUD if you intend on living and investing in regional areas.
- Have 750,000 AUD in net assets, OR 500,000 AUD if you intend on living and investing in regional areas, and have held these assets for two years.
- Not have any dependent children.
- Be over 55 years of Age.
- Have sponsorship from State or Territory where you intend to live.
- Pass Health Character with your accompanying spouse (if applicable).
This is temporary visa which is renewable in Australia, It also allow you to work for 20 hours per week only.
When you come to Australia under either of the above mentioned visas at items (1 or 2) and start or acquire an interest in a business OR maintain an eligible investment for the
required periods and want to apply for permanent residency you will have one of the following options:
4- Investor (Residence)
To qualify for this visa you must have:
- Been in Australia for at least two years in the most recent four as the holder of an Investor (provisional) visa.
- Four years of eligible investment activities in Australia.
- Commitment to continue to maintain investment activities in Australia or establish or a acquire a business.
- Pass Health Character with all members of the family unit.
5- Sponsored Investor (Residence)
To qualify for this visa you must have:
- Been in Australia for a least two years in the most recent four as the holder of an Sponsored Investor (provisional) visa.
- Sponsorship by a State or Territory, usually where you have held the designated investment for the required period.
- Four years of eligible investment activities in Australia.
- Commitment to continue or maintain investment activities in Australia.
- Pass Health Character with all members of your family unit.
